They are offered with the ambition that they cause you to not only notice but embrace the pleasant as much as the not so agreeable ingredients of life and the larger stage created for all. For too much sugar rots the body and mind while too much salt toughens one to leather. An accepted balance of the two is the recipe for a complete well cooked person.
